I have a lot of self-awareness in my life. I have a habit of staring at my phone, which I can’t even begin to explain. I have a habit of not remembering to check my emails, which I have no idea why I do. I have a habit of doing too much of something that I had planned, which I guess is self-awareness for me.
I think it’s safe to say that most people are like me. They have a habit of checking their phones, and they also have a habit of doing too much of something that’s supposed to make them feel good. Like the person who wrote me about wanting to do more in the morning, and the person who told me I didn’t need to get up early enough to get it done.
It’s very common for people to have a habit of checking their cell phone in the morning. I know mine does. I also know there are plenty of people who do the exact same thing in the evening, and I don’t think it’s really a coincidence that we have so many of them. It’s really just that we can’t stop ourselves without stopping ourselves.
